Hi there! I'm Jenn, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas. I have nearly two years of experience helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, among other journeys. My goal is to create a safe, cozy space where you feel supported and understood, because it is only when we feel safe can we begin to heal. Using tools like CBT and EMDR, I guide clients toward healing, growth, and becoming the best version of themselves.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and talk about your goals for counseling. I always say my job is to create a safe, comfortable space where you can feel supported as we navigate this journey together. It’s completely okay to feel nervous—after all, I’m just a stranger right now—but I’m here to make sure you feel at ease every step of the way.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

What makes me a great provider is my soft, warm approach and my ability to make clients feel truly seen and never judged. I’m known for being understanding and genuine, balancing honesty with kindness. My clients appreciate that I’m real with them while always remaining sweet, caring, and supportive. My main goal as a therapist is to help clients work through their challenges and trauma in a way that feels safe and empowering. I strive to guide them toward healing and growth, providing the tools and support they need to navigate their journey with confidence and compassion. Seeing my clients overcome obstacles and thrive is the most rewarding part of my work.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

My dream clients are individuals who are ready to dive deep into their healing journey and work on anxiety, depression, or past trauma. They appreciate a soft, warm approach and enjoy a bit of humor to lighten the path when appropriate. I love working with clients who are seeking guidance and are open to exploring new ways to grow and thrive.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have been using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my practice for nearly two years, and I find it to be an incredibly effective approach for helping clients navigate anxiety and depression. I love how CBT empowers individuals to challenge negative thought patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and make meaningful changes in their lives.

EMDR

I have been utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) in my practice for over a year, and I love how it helps individuals process and heal from trauma. EMDR enables clients to reprocess distressing memories, reducing their emotional intensity and fostering resilience.
