Hello! My name is Jennifer, and I am a therapist currently practicing in Texas (LPC) and Ohio (LPCC). I studied at Wright State University, earning my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health in 2013. After spending time working in a community mental health setting, I decided it was time to move into private practice in 2019. Best career decision I've made so far!
Our first session will be where we get to know each other and decide on your goals. Once those are established, we start constructing the routes we will take to reach that target. Questions are always welcome!
As a therapist, I enjoy tweaking evidence-based techniques to best fit each client. People aren't cookie cutter, so why should approaches be?
I enjoy helping people navigate a variety of life's challenges. Although we meet regularly, I think it's important for clients to understand that most of the therapeutic work will happen outside of our sessions. Just think of our journey as a road trip: I may be the GPS, but you are ultimately the driver!
I draw from several different skillsets in order to find the best approach for an individual. Each client is unique, and deserves services tailored to their goals and experiences.
