Are anxiety, burnout, or depression overtaking your life? Together we can take the chaos in your life and create structure, focus, motivation and more organization to help you reach your goals. With new skills, education, encouragement and accountability, you can start living the life you want. I know that feeling of being stuck, overwhelmed and frustrated, and I would love to work with you to help you make some changes. I not only work with teen and adult ADHD and Executive Function issues, but also depression, anxiety, and life transitions. Regardless of what you’re struggling with, my holistic approach can help you find healthier tools for living more successfully. We’ll look at all areas of your life, from sleep to diet to effective communication skills and find solutions so you can create the life you need.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My hope for my clients is that they come away from our first session feeling understood and heard. I work to create a stress-free session where clients feel comfortable sharing and asking questions.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I love skills and tools so when appropriate, I will use strategies based in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP-used for OCD), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I am also trained in EMDR.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My passion is working with those who struggle with anxiety, ADHD, and /or life transitions. Burnout (from work or life in general) is also one of my specialties. Why these areas are so important to me is that I've not only worked extensively with these issues, but I've also dealt with them in my personal life. I understand the fear, dread, and overall joy sucking experience of stress. Anxiety, OCD, panic attacks all work to make life miserable. I believe there is hope and help so that life doesn't feel so overwhelming. The interesting way our brains work with ADHD is also something I'm very aware of. Yet our brains can be trained to work a bit more the way we need them to work, and I can show you how. Most of all, I'm empathetic to whatever you bring to our sessions.
