Hi there, I'm Mentoria. Do you feel pulled in a million directions, unable to fit it all in? Are you struggling to keep up with your relationships, work and health? Is it hard to be kind to yourself?

Some tools utilized in therapy will be cognitive restructuring, mindfulness, active listening, exploring, and education.

I help high performers manage anxiety and avoid burnout. Together, we can identify what's not working and get you back to balance. We'll use a whole self approach, addressing the needs of your mind, body and spirit. I also integrate mindfulness and imagery to help you develop a stronger relationship with yourself. Whether you're dealing with overwhelm, relationship issues or cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm here to help. Seeking therapy can feel scary but you're making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the hangups and habits holding you back. Let's work together!

First session

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges being faced. This will help with creating a tailored treatment plan for us to work through in follow up sessions.

Strengths

I am known for being a good listener, caring, sensitive, and being open minded. My style is warm and interactive. I believe everyone should be treated with dignity and respect. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns to include sadness, anxiety, fear, lack of motivation, poor impulse control, low self esteem, parenting problems, relationship problems, communication, concerns, anger management, stress management, addiction, and those who have experienced physical, emotional, and sexual abuse.

Ideal clients

The overall focus area for helping will be to get a person to their personal goal, which includes feeling better mentally, being able to bring a level of normalcy to daily activities, and coping with current and past experiences. Often times trauma affects our thinking and lead to a path of unhealthy decisions. I like to focus on reality and making a person feel better overall.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is one of the most effective means of treatment that aims to reduce symptoms of various mental health conditions. People are often taught new skills that can be used in real-world situations. CBT helps manage problems by changing the ways you think and behave.
