I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who provides affirming, trauma-informed and trauma-focused therapy for adults navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, identity exploration, and religious trauma.

In addition to my LCSW I have a Master of Divinity that I use to help inform my approaches to working with those impacted from religious trauma and/or spiritual harm.

In addition to my LCSW I have a Master of Divinity that I use to help inform my approaches to working with those impacted from religious trauma and/or spiritual harm. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in practical tools that support healing, self-understanding, and meaningful growth. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, respected, and empowered to move toward the life they want.

First session

In our first session, we’ll discuss what brings you to therapy, your goals, relevant history, and what support would feel most helpful for you right now. I also use this time to answer questions, collaborate on next steps, and create a space that feels safe, affirming, and nonjudgmental.

Strengths

My greatest strengths are creating a compassionate, collaborative therapeutic space while integrating evidence-based approaches that help clients build insight, practical coping skills, and lasting emotional growth.

Ideal clients

I am best positioned to serve adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity exploration, chronic stress, suicidality, and the impacts of religious trauma or spiritually harmful experiences. I work especially well with clients seeking a collaborative, affirming, and insight-oriented therapeutic relationship that integrates practical coping skills with deeper healing, self-understanding, and values-based growth. I also enjoy supporting helping professionals, LGBTQIA+ clients, and neurodivergence individuals.

Treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use ACT to help clients build psychological flexibility by identifying values, increasing mindfulness skills, and reducing avoidance patterns that keep them stuck.

Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS)

I use CAMS as a collaborative, client-centered framework for assessing and treating suicidality by identifying drivers of suicidal distress, strengthening stabilization strategies, and supporting ongoing safety and therapeutic engagement. I am CAMS trained and working towards certification.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I utilize DBT-informed interventions to support clients with emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness skills in both crisis stabilization and long-term growth.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I incorporate IFS principles to help clients compassionately explore and understand different parts of themselves, heal internal conflicts, and strengthen Self-leadership.

EMDR

NOTE: I am currently completing EMDR Basic Training and integrating EMDR-informed interventions under the guidelines of my training program. Anticipated completion of EMDR Basic Training: Early November 2026. While I specialize in the treatment of trauma, including complex trauma, I am currently utilizing EMDR with appropriate clients and concerns consistent with my level of training. For clients seeking treatment for complex trauma, I also draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), narrative, psychodynamic, ACT, DBT, and other trauma-informed approaches to support healing and recovery.
