I’m a therapist with more than 10 years experience in the field, in a wide variety of different settings. I prefer to utilize a Person-Centered, Solution-Focused perspective in providing treatment, and I'm highly practiced in a variety of CBT-based techniques. I'm happy to speak at length with patients about childhood traumas, their subconscious needs, and the impact of family upbringing on their adult lives- but that doesn't have to be therapy!
Expect an honest conversation on whatever terms work for you; therapy doesn't have to be 60 minutes of fancy psychology talk being directed at you- this is not a college lecture. If you're struggling with something; no matter what it is, we can have an honest conversation about realistic solutions that can help immediately in day-to-day life.
I prefer to use a grounded, humor-based style in building a relationship with individuals- I think therapy can only be useful when therapist and client are on the same page and comfortable building a working rapport for treatment. I also am certified as ADHD-CCSP and have particular insight into working with individuals struggling with ADHD, and the multitude of impacts it can have on day-to-day wellbeing.
I have significant experience working with individuals facing barriers arising from legal issues, experiencing financial stress or housing instability, or those suffering as a result of addiction; either their own or a loved one's. I'm grateful to have worked with individuals on a wide variety of issues; with particular specialization treating problems associated with ADHD and Substance Use.

Through a non-judgement approach I work with individuals to identify issues presenting the greatest barriers to overall well-being and achievement of goals, assisting in developing real-world, practical strategies for addressing and overcoming these concerns.
