I am passionate about empowering individuals to overcome challenges and achieve personal growth. I believe in the transformative power of therapy and am dedicated to equipping clients with practical tools and strategies to foster resilience and promote healing. With a strong foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and a commitment to trauma-informed care, I create a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

First session

I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, and trauma-related issues. My approach is rooted in empathy and understanding, allowing clients to feel heard and validated as they work through their experiences.

Strengths

I hope to foster an open and honest relationship that prioritizes empathy and straightforward communication.

Ideal clients

Clear motivation: wants help and is willing to engage in the work. Open-mindedness: willing to consider new perspectives and approaches. Honesty: shares thoughts, feelings, and behaviors candidly. Consistency: attends sessions regularly and follows agreed plans. Reflectiveness: thinks about experiences and notices patterns. Self-responsibility: accepts their role in change while acknowledging external factors. Communicative about fit: gives feedback about what is or isn’t helping.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is a structured, time-limited therapy that links thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. In practice I assess problems and build a shared formulation, set collaborative goals, teach the CBT model, and use techniques like cognitive restructuring (identify and test unhelpful thoughts), behavioral activation (schedule rewarding activities), and graded exposure for avoidance/anxiety. Sessions include skill practice, measurable homework (thought records, activity logs, exposures), regular symptom monitoring, and a relapse-prevention plan. The approach is active, collaborative, and tailored to the client’s needs.
