Alfred Adler believed in the total person. Social connection, spiritual emphasis, and self-improvement were the basis of his theory. He supported women's issues, and he encouraged the therapist to talk about religion and God if the client chose to. These are some of the same theories I embrace. I also use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) in my practice to help my client moving toward becoming there best selves.
