Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I obtained both my Bachelor's and Master's degree Social Work at Florida International University. I have over five years of experience helping teens, adults, and families in need of mental health services and/or medical/case management counseling.

I help clients build insight and practical tools so they feel empowered to create meaningful, lasting change.

I am the owner of Forevermore Counseling Services, LLC, licensed in FL, IL, SC, and VA with the pursuit of more states, and utilizes empirical based interventions geared to your needs.

First session

During our initial sessions, we will delve deeply into the issues at hand, and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps you get your life back. Whether you're seeking clarity, healing, or a renewed sense of direction, I’m here to support you at your own pace. Therapy is an investment in yourself, and I’m honored to be part of that process.

Strengths

I lead with empathy and make it a priority to truly understand each client’s experiences, emotions, and goals. Clients often tell me they feel heard, supported, and safe when working with me. I believe therapy works best as a partnership. I help clients build insight and practical tools so they feel empowered to create meaningful, lasting change.

Ideal clients

I work collaboratively, helping clients navigate challenges such as anxiety, stress, life transitions, etc that feel hard to break. My approach blends evidence-based practices with a compassionate, practical mindset. Together, we focus not only on understanding the “why” behind your experiences but also on building the skills and confidence needed for growth.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate way(s) to help you make progress. With CBT, we'll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experience. During treatment, I'll help you learn how to push back against those thoughts to change your feelings for the better.

Her personality really makes it feel like your just talking with friends and very kind and open to the different directions a conversation may go.

I just had my second session with Sandy and honestly one of my favorite things about her so far is that a lot of the things I'm going through she has also been through and is also still working through. She is so genuine and gives me tangible challenges each week. She reminds me that we are only human and that even though life is crazy, we still have to make time for ourselves because if we are pouring from an empty bucket we won't see results. Highly recommend her!
