My name is Midori and I've been practicing for 4 years as an LCSW. I have 2 years with Adult Protective services as a Bachelors Social Worker, and 4 years as a Hospice Social Worker with my LCSW. My experience has helped me see the complexity of people with different experiences and with my practice my approach is to be person-centered, recognizing that each person regardless of the situation brings unique experiences, strengths, and challenges to my practice. I strive to meet each of my clients where they are to help build meaningful changes toward achieving their goals.

My ideal client is someone who is open to personal growth, self-exploration, and creating meaningful change in their life. I would be hopeful my client would be seeking a deeper understanding of themselves, their emotions, relationships, or experiences. My goal would be to collaborate together to identify these strengths, develop health coping strategies, increase self awareness, and work toward positive changes.

I have been practicing Cognitive Behavior Therapy for 4 years, I help my clients understand how thoughts affect feelings, and how those feelings affect our behavior towards different situations. I have expertise in anxiety, and depression disorders, and provide grief counseling.
