Vicky Snyder
Hello! I'm Vicky Snyder. I have 14 years of experience working in the mental health field. I am a Master's level Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). My passion is faith-based counseling, specializing in anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, addictions, and relationship issues.
My passion is faith-based counseling, specializing in anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, addictions, and relationship issues.
I work from a non-judgmental approach, and can bring in faith-based components if you express a desire for such. I believe there is hope for living the life you want. You can start your new life now.
First session
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Strengths
Having worked with grief and trauma survivors in the past 14 years, I've developed many techniques for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.
Ideal clients
I love working with adults who are experiencing or have experienced grief, anxiety, trauma, anger issues, or domestic violence. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed, and anxious about moving forward into the life and need some encouragement to move in that direction.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Our emotions are impacted by our thoughts, so working to change thoughts is the primary focus.
Faith based therapy
I incorporate faith for those who are looking for this kind of support.
