Julie Berosik
With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, I am dedicated to creating a relaxed and comfortable environment where you can feel safe, heard, and cared for. My practice specializes in addressing a wide range of challenges, including trauma, sexual trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, PTSD and relationship concerns for both couples and individuals. My approach is rooted in empathy and understanding, empowering you to maximize your own strengths.
First session
I believe that healing begins with a strong therapeutic alliance, and I strive to foster a space where you can openly explore your thoughts and feelings. This journey will begin on day one as you begin to tell your story, at your pace, with the support you deserve.
Strengths
As a therapist, I bring a unique combination of deep clinical knowledge, sharp insight, and unwavering compassion into every session. With years of experience specializing in trauma, mood disorders, addiction, and complex mental health challenges, I provide an advanced understanding of the root causes driving your struggles. My approach stands out because it blends a deeply caring, supportive foundation with a relaxed, conversational demeanor. I reject the sterile, intimidating atmosphere of traditional therapy to meet you as a real human being. Because I am profoundly invested in your progress, I do not just sit and nod. I bring a direct, straightforward style to our work, offering honest insights that help cut through old defense mechanisms and cyclical patterns.
Ideal clients
I am best positioned to serve clients who are ready for real change but feel stuck in the cycle of trauma or dependency. My ideal clients value raw honesty and want a therapist who is genuine and real. Whether you are a therapy skeptic intimidated by clinical environments, or an individual whose defenses keep you from moving forward, I offer a non-judgmental space where you don't have to be perfect. Together, we will safely confront root causes, build practical daily boundaries, and work efficiently toward a life of authentic healing.
