Hello! I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) based in Kentucky. I received my masters degree from the University of Louisville and have been practicing for nine years. My goal is to help both teens and adults identify strategies to navigate the stressors of life.
During my almost decade of experience collaborating with clients, one thing that I have come to understand is the importance of prioritizing individualized, client centered, value-based care.
I offer a safe place to discuss and identify strategies to move beyond life challenges.
First session
During our first session we will get acquainted with one another. It is important that there be a comfort level established so that we can develop a mutually respectable therapeutic relationship. We will then identify and prioritize treatment plan goals to focus on during our sessions. My client's can expect support to be self directed to obtain their personal goals.
Strengths
During my almost decade of experience collaborating with clients, one thing that I have come to understand is the importance of prioritizing individualized, client centered, value-based care. I use a strengths based approach with my clients to empower them to manage their life goals. An additional strength is the ability to practice empathy for individual circumstances based on my observation of the client's world view that influences their decision making.
Ideal clients
My ideal client is a person who has a willingness to take an honest look at their life obstacles and the courage to gain the awareness necessary to reach personal goals. This client has a desire to embrace their personal strengths and to build the resilience to view struggles as opportunities to maximize personal potential. My ideal client embodies an optimistic attitude to win!
