With over 30 years of experience in the mental health field, I bring a deep understanding of the therapeutic process and a strong commitment to helping individuals thrive.

I have served in a wide range of clinical and leadership roles-therapist, clinical supervisor, clinical director, and adjunct professor-and have worked in diverse settings such as group homes, outpatient clinics, mental health centers, schools, and most recently, private practice. Licensed as an LPC in Colorado and an LMHC in Florida, I am committed to providing effective, compassionate care that is both present-focused and future-oriented—helping you move forward with clarity, confidence, and hope.

First session

In our first session together, you can expect a supportive, judgment free conversation where we explore what's bringing you in, clarify your goals for treatment, review relevant history and begin identifying practical next steps so you begin feeling greater clarity and direction.

Strengths

I help you achieve real results by combining evidence based therapy methods with a supportive, trusting therapeutic relationship. I focus on building strong rapport so that you will feel heard and understood, while using practical, goal oriented strategies to help you feel better, think more clearly and make meaningful progress in your life.

Ideal clients

I enjoy working with clients who are open to growth and willing to look at their thoughts, emotions and patterns, even when it’s hard. I’m especially drawn to people who want to better understand themselves and are open to working together to make real, lasting changes. I also value honesty, curiosity and a willingness to be open and engaged throughout the process.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help you understand how your thoughts, feelings and behaviors are connected, and to build practical skills that create healthier patterns and real-life change.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I use mindfulness based therapy to help you slow down, become more aware of your thoughts and emotions without judgment, and develop a calmer, more grounded way of responding to life's challenges.

Positive Psychology

I use positive psychology techniques to help you build on your strengths, increase resilience and intentionally cultivate habits that support greater meaning, confidence and overall well-being.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use solution focused brief treatment techniques to help you clarify your goals, build on what's already working and create practical, achievable steps towards meaningful change.
