Greetings, I'm a Licensed Professional Counsellor (LPC) based in Texas. I received my Masters from the University of North Texas and have been practicing for 19 years. Transitioning through life changes can be challenging, and having a therapist assist you through these transitions can be incredibly beneficial.

My greatest strength is building and maintaining a welcoming positive relationship.

Therapists can provide support, guidance, and tools to help navigate changes in relationships, careers, health, or any other aspect of life. They can help you explore your feelings, identify patterns or obstacles, and develop coping strategies to manage stress and uncertainty. Additionally, therapists can offer a safe and non-judgmental space for you to express yourself and work through any concerns or fears you may have about the transition process.

First session

Your first session will include brief introduction and getting to know each other. We will explore the concerns that prompted your desire to seek counseling and come up with short and long term goals.

Strengths

My greatest strength is building and maintaining a welcoming positive relationship.

Ideal clients

Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, and anxious during times of transition is very common. It's a signal that your mind and body are reacting to the changes happening around you. Working together we can develop strategies that can help you manage these feelings, remove obstacles in decision making, explore opportunities for healthy life choices, and process prior decision which may color how you view yourself and your world.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have been using CBP therapy since 2008. I feel it helps the most because we can work together to reframe negative thoughts/ideas, self-criticism (Coach voice v Critic voice) and help you lay to rest past trauma and hurtful memories.
