Dr. Ostergaard is an experienced licensed practitioner with specialized training in neuropsychology. She has been a licensed practitioner since 2006 and completed her fellowship training in pediatric neuropsychology through the University of Minnesota Medical School’s Division of Pediatric Clinical Neuroscience. Her research and clinical interests have focused on traumatic brain injury (TBI) assessment and recovery. First session

In the first session, you will get to know one another. Dr. Ostergaard will ask questions, discuss a diagnosis, and together you will develop a treatment plan. The first session is not meant to be therapeutic, but rather an opportunity to determine therapy needs and course of treatment.

Her clinical passion is driven by concussion assessment and management, as well as return-to-school and performance enhancement for student-athletes. Additional interests include treatment for ADHD, oppositional behavior, adjustment, anxiety, depression, and parent coaching utilizing a combination of behavioral, cognitive-behavioral, and play therapy techniques. She believes in a holistic approach to care examining all aspects of an individual’s functioning, including physical, emotional, social, academic, and spiritual.
