Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Tennessee. I received my master's from the University of Tennessee along with a certificate for The Treatment of Trauma. I have been practicing for 8 years.

I help people of all ages identify their triggers, process their trauma, and learn healthy coping skills and boundaries and how to improve relationships and self-care.

First session

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions and reviewing session and service expectations, then dive into the specific challenges you're currently facing. This will help you and I to create a client-centered treatment plan with specific goals tailored to each individual.

Strengths

My empathy and ability to help each client feel seen, heard and validated. I aim to create a safe space for healthy and open communication free of judgement, where my clients will always feel accepted and understood.

Ideal clients

I work with a wide range of clients. I currently work with children, adolescents, young adults, adults, couples, families, single parents, veterans and first responders. The majority of my clients have some history of trauma. However, the most important thing is that my clients feel comfortable with me as their provider. I feel that establishing a strong therapeutic bond and trust are key to therapy being successful. I aim to provide a space in which my clients are comfortable with choosing the flow of each session. You are the pilot of your sessions. I am the co-pilot.

Treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Three key concepts in person-centered counselling are: Empathic understanding: the counselor trying to understand the client's point of view. Congruence: the counsellor being a genuine person. Unconditional positive regard: the counsellor being non-judgmental.
