Hi, I'm Shante'. I am passionate about working with ambitious women (16+) who are dealing with anxiety, burnout, career difficulties, academic pressure, or relationship struggles. So often, my client's are used to holding everything together for everyone else, and my goal is to give you a space where you can prioritize your well being.

Over the years, I have honed my skills and expertise to effectively address anxiety and women's issues.

Together, we'll work on building more balance, confidence, and calm in your life, so you can reconnect with yourself and create a more fulfilling life.

First session

My goal is to give you a safe, judgment-free space where you can unpack what's on your mind. In our first session, we'll start getting to know each other and talk about what's been weighing on you. From there, we'll work on letting go of what's heavy and finding new ways for you to thrive. This is your time to breathe, relax, and reconnect with the fullest version of yourself.

Strengths

I bring an empathetic, compassionate, and non-judgmental style to every session. I want you to feel truly supported and empowered as we work through things together, at a pace that feels right for you.

Ideal clients

I work well with women who feel overwhelmed by career or academic pressure, anxiety, or the weight of everyone's expectations. I specialize in anxiety and stress management, work life balance, relationship issues, career difficulties, academic stress, and self esteem. If you're looking to reconnect with yourself, build more balance in your life, and feel more confident in who you are, I'd love to help you get there.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use a CBT approach to teach clients mindfulness and cognitive tools to help achieve healthier thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

Narrative

I work collaboratively with my client to empower them to take the necessary steps toward their goals and attaining the life transformation they want for themselves.

She was kind, professional, and created a comfortable environment during our sessions. However, I felt that her approach was not the best fit for what I was looking for in therapy. I was hoping for a more interactive experience with additional questions, guidance, and collaborative goal-setting to help address my concerns. At times, I left sessions feeling uncertain about the direction of treatment and the specific goals we were working toward. I appreciated her kindness and supportive demeanor.
