Hi, I’m Lesley. I am a licensed therapist providing therapy to adults in Pennsylvania and Delaware. I often see people struggling with what I call “reality gaps”, which is the space between the life you have and the life you want. The wider that gap feels, the more distress tends to grow. My role is to meet you where you are and support you in bridging that gap. I have over a decade of experience working with adults and adolescents facing chronic depression, anxiety, attachment concerns, and relational conflict.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is a chance to get oriented. We can talk about what brought you in and what you would like help with. You don’t need to prepare anything ahead of time. I work from a Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) lens, which focuses on building awareness around thoughts and emotions, breaking out of unhelpful patterns, and moving toward a life that feels more meaningful.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I often hear that I am thoughtful, detail-oriented, and kind. I use my clinical experience and background in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you build skills that actually feel usable.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Using an ACT approach, I help clients develop greater psychological flexibility so they can relate to difficult experiences in new ways and move toward the life they want to be living. I work best with adults who feel stuck in unhelpful patterns. My approach is a good fit for individuals looking for therapy that is thoughtful, supportive, and also focused on making changes.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I work from an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) perspective, which involves exploring the mind’s chatter and identifying unhelpful patterns. "ACT" is actually spoken as a single word! It is a scientifically based psychotherapeutic modality that helps us explore how the human mind works.
