Hello! My name is Jessica Canada-Rudolph and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I received my Master's degree from Alliant University and have been practicing for 6 years. I love what I do! I am here to help with things from decreasing anxiety symptoms to improving communication. As an LMFT, I can be a neutral ear to listen with compassion and help you discover your solutions! ** Please note that AI note taking is an integral part of my practice. This is a tool that not only helps me be present in session, it gives you a summary of what was discussed and I make certain to remove any proper nouns, if needed, before the note is saved. If you do not prefer AI note taking during sessions, please consider services with any of the other, wonderful Grow Therapy providers **
In our initial session, I will ask questions to get to know you and what you feel is the problem that is most important for you to work on. We will also collaborate on a treatment plan that will guide our future sessions.
I am a therapist who will listen with compassion and gently challenge you in a way to examine fears and make progress towards your goals. I provide a safe and welcoming space so that you will feel comfortable with expressing thoughts, feelings, and needs.
Currently I am working with individuals. As an individual, you may be a young person suffering with depressive symptoms, an adult having difficulty navigating through phase of life changes, a person wanting to build confidence, and more. You are ready to give therapy a try (ready to do the work) or return to therapy (finetuning skills) because you need extra support that may not be available from family and/or friends.

Sometimes we can get bogged down with what's going wrong and lose focus on what's going right. I use Solution Focused Therapy to help you focus on positive solutions to problems
With Cognitive Behavior Therapy I help you recognize and change negative thoughts and distortions that help shape your views and behaviors.
Our emotions are at the core of who we are. In Emotionally Focused Therapy I help people realize how to express emotions in a way that promotes healthy growth.
You are not the problem, the problem is the problem. I use narrative therapy to aid you in externalizing the problem so that you can explore an alternative narrative to who you are.

I find Jessica to be very compassionate, engaging, and attentive. She truly listens to me as I share my feelings and emotions surrounding the loss of my husband. I feel heard, understood, and supported during our sessions. I am incredibly grateful to have Jessica as my therapist during this difficult time.

I had a wonderful experience with my therapist. She created a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where I felt comfortable sharing my thoughts and experiences. She listened with compassion, asked thoughtful questions, and helped me gain new perspectives on situations I was struggling with.
