Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
When I utilize CBT it is a partnership where the client and I work together to identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns. We will focus on the "3 C's": briefly explain the foundational process of Catching (identifying), Checking (evaluating), and Changing distressing thoughts and behaviors.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
We will work together utilizing: mindfulness, distress tolerance, and emotion regulation which are DBT's four core skill modules. As a team we will create real world skills to improve daily coping with stressors.
