Hi , I'm Nazia Basha, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 4 years of experience helping adults navigate stress, anxiety, burnout, and depression. I utilize an integrative and person-centered approach. I also draw from evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused, and Mindfulness techniques.

I help high-functioning adults reframe unhelpful patterns, manage stress and burnout, and achieve meaningful change-all while honoring their unique experiences and cultural background.

Together, we'll identify patterns, build practical strategies, and create lasting, meaningful change-all in a safe, supportive space where you feel truly heard.

First session

In your first session with me, we'll focus on getting to know you and your goals. I'll ask questions to learn about your experiences, challenges, and what you hope to achieve in therapy, while creating a safe, non-judgmental space for you to share openly. Together we will explore patterns, strengths, and practical strategies.

Strengths

My greatest strengths are empathy, active listening, and creating a safe space where clients feel heard. I help high-functioning adults reframe unhelpful patterns, manage stress and burnout, and achieve meaningful change-all while honoring their unique experiences and cultural background.

Ideal clients

I specialize in supporting adults who are struggling with anxiety, burnout, depression, life transitions, and stress. My ideal clients are ready to break unhelpful patterns, build practical coping strategies, and reclaim balance and confidence in their personal and professional lives.

Treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I embrace person-centered approach by honoring each client's unique experiences and strengths, creating a safe, empathetic space where they feel empowered to explore, grow, and achieve their personal goals.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

Through a culturally attuned approach, I create a safe space where clients feel seen, valued, and empowered to transform their challenges into progress.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and reframe unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, empowering them to develop practical strategies for lasting emotional and behavioral change.

After talking to Nazia for the first 10 minutes, she gave me such a warm feeling — like she covered me with a big wing, and suddenly it wasn’t a rainy day anymore. I don’t really know what therapy is supposed to feel like, but if this is the beginning, I’m very grateful to have it.

Ms. Nazia Basha is an empowering, authentic, and solution oriented therapist. She listens attentively and develops a plan and includes the client. My plan included reading (listening ) to an audio book and using worksheets to guide how my trauma impacts all aspects of my life. Ms. Basha also includes strategies to assist with accepting , feeling, and living beyond what we have been through. You would be fortunate to have her as your therapist. Authentic , warm, and intelligent!

This was my 1st session with Nazia Basha. She listened attentively and gave me choices on how we could proceed with future sessions. I chose to vent and read (listen) to a book that mirrors my situation and we will discuss and compare during our sessions. I am very happy, hopeful, and optimistic that I am on the right track to challenging negative thoughts and replacing them with empowering truths.
