I believe people do well if they can. Together, we will identify your strengths and build the skills and internal & external resources necessary to help you overcome your struggles and navigate the complexities of life. Through a variety of therapeutic techniques, including EMDR, IFS, ACT, CBT, and DBT, we will tailor a treatment plan to meet your specific needs & goals.
In our first session together, we will discuss what brings you to therapy and explore what approaches we can use together. I'll answer your initial questions, and we'll start planning your healing journey.
Using a comprehensive, individualized approach, I will tailor my therapeutic methods to meet your needs and utilize and adapt techniques (EMDR, CBT, DBT) based on what will be most effective for you.
I have experience in helping individuals with stress & anxiety, depression, personality disorders, mood disorders, addictions, relationship issues, and trauma. I am also an Autism Specialist with over 18 years of experience working with neuordivergent individuals.

As a trained EMDR clinician, I will guide and support you in identifying the root cause of your distress (i.e., anxiety, depression, unsuccessful relationships, etc.) to reprocess traumatic or distressing memories and/ or events so that your emotional response diminishes and you feel significant relief, gaining healthy coping skills and improving the overall quality of your mental and physical health.
As a trained DBT clinician, I will guide you in developing essential skills in four domains (emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness) to help you manage your emotions and stress in healthy ways.
As a trained clinician, I will utilize a variety of CBT methods and skills to help you understand the connections between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors so we can identify and change unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviors to improve your overall emotional well-being.
One of the practices I utilize for couples counseling is the Gottman Method, an evidence-based approach to couples therapy, which focuses on strengthening the relationship’s connection and friendship, improving conflict management, and building shared meaning. Counseling often begins with assessments (interviews, questionnaires like the Gottman Relationship Checkup), then uses structured interventions and homework exercises. The method emphasizes reducing the “Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse” (criticism, contempt, defensiveness, stonewalling) and replacing them with healthier communication strategies.

Amazingly sweet and kind and intelligent, was offering so many insights and solutions within the first session and seemed genuinely excited to help me. She understands autism and adhd more than anyone I have ever spoken to, and made me feel seen and heard in a way I have never experienced before. 5 stars, would give 6 if I could. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking help with autism.
