First session

In our first session together, we’ll start with building and fostering a therapeutic rapport and alliance to assess better, identify, and implement evidence-based interventions and skills to assist in managing any presenting symptoms that might be affecting your overall well-being.

Strengths

Having experience working with an array of individuals for the past several years, I’ve developed a surplus of skills and strengths that have given me an encyclopedia of creative and tailored therapeutic interventions that incorporate the client’s strengths in order to assist in their healing journey.

Ideal clients

I enjoy working with adults who are struggling with mental health and emotional health difficulties that might impact their ability to achieve their best potential in different aspects of their lives, such as major life changes, Grief and Loss, Relationship Conflicts, and Career and Work Stressors.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

"Throughout my five-year clinical career, I’ve grown to understand the meaning of the quote, “Mental Health is not a destination, but a process; it’s about how you drive, not where you’re going.” Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I’ve assisted a wide range of clients throughout their mental health journey of self-reflection, self-exploration, and self-awareness. Utilizing a wide range of CBT evidenced-based interventions and techniques during our sessions, we’ll be able to identify the interplay between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In addition, increasing a deeper comprehension and perspective on how to challenge and manage maladaptive behaviors and symptoms that impact your overall functioning.

I was very specific about what I was looking for in a provider based on their profile, and thankfully, Karl has been exactly what I needed. He has been incredibly supportive and empowering, and his approach aligns well with the way I think while also challenging me with the perspective I need to continue growing.

He was nice. I'm unsure if he's too demanding about paperwork, rather than you deciding with him.

I have seen a good amount of therapist in my few days of life yet he gave me feedback and things to consider I have not heard before. Also he has a chill vibe about him.
