I have 25 + years of experience working with people with severe symptoms or mental illness.

It is time to dive in and process all those uncomfortable thoughts and feelings. Together, we will be able to process them, put them in a safe place and find some ways to cope with them by learning to accept that you are the only one that can make the first step to change your difficult and unpleasant situation. Even at some point you feel hopeless, you have the potential to make a difference in your life.

First session

In the first session we will get to know each other. I will explain to you how my practice and sessions work. What can you expect from therapy. You will be able to explore your needs and we will be able to set some short and long term therapeutic goals.

Strengths

I am compassionate, experienced, good listener and empathetic therapist, which will be able to understand where are you coming from and provide a safe space for you to continue your healing journey.

Ideal clients

I am fully committed to understand where you are in life without judgement, what are you struggling with and where do you want to be at. Together we are going to process those uncomfortable struggles, thoughts and feelings. We will learn some skills and tools to process, accept and overcome them.

Treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Acceptance and commitment therapy is a form of psychotherapy, as well as a branch of clinical behavior analysis. It is an empirically based psychological intervention that uses acceptance and mindfulness strategies along with commitment and behavior-change strategies to increase psychological flexibility.

I really enjoyed the directness and authenticity of Wendy during our session. She makes problems very relatable and gives a person ability to open up to have an honest conversation.

Very easy to talk to. Listens to both sides and has unique exercises to communicate with.
