Adam Marin
Have you ever felt that your past or present are holding you back from experiencing happiness? If you answered "Yes" to this question, I am here to tell you that the feeling of happiness is still within you and there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I am just here to help you find those tools and remove all the clutter. I am here to help you face the difficult challenges that life is throwing at you and face them with confidence and better understanding of what you can do to live your life the way you want to.
I incorporate modalities such as Acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy to help you win the struggles that you have with yourself every day.
First session
Your first session will consist of discussing what is bringing you to therapy and how those problems have impacted your life. Secondly, we work discuss your therapy goals and how we will go about achieving those goals. Lastly, I will talk to you about the approaches I use and we will come to a decision if we are a good match for each other.
Strengths
I help clients build greater psychological flexibility so they can respond to life’s challenges with more clarity, compassion, and confidence. My work focuses on helping people move through difficult thoughts and emotions without getting stuck, while reconnecting with what matters most to them. I use an approach that supports growth, healing, and practical change, with care tailored to each person’s needs. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, struggling with intrusive thoughts, or trying to make sense of a difficult season in life, I aim to provide a safe space where you can feel understood and make meaningful progress.
