I help adolescents and adults through some of life's most challenging circumstances and give them the space they need to process such events and experiences.
I want to assist you through your past and current adversities.
First session
In our first session together, I want to learn more about you! I will ask you questions about yourself, and I want you to feel that you can ask me questions too! I like to focus on what brought you here so that I can develop an effective plan for you.
Strengths
I like to identify the root causes of your challenges and then create a tailored plan for you to see progress. I like to be gentle, yet direct and honest. I like to create a good alliance with you, as I believe it is the basis of effective treatment.
Ideal clients
I like to work with adolescents and adults who are experiencing various challenges in life, such as depression, anxiety, life transitions, OCD, trauma, and many more. I enjoy working with individuals who are motivated to change, but may not have the tools yet or feel that it is overwhelming to change.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I like to assist clients in reframing their thoughts processes and finding them evidence against their anxious thoughts.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I like to assist clients in accepting their thoughts, feelings, and emotions as they are. I also like to help clients be able to release any thoughts that do not serve them. I like to assist clients in life fulfillment and help them become more self-aware of their values and how they connect to their actions.
Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)
I like to assist clients with OCD, anxiety, and phobias lead a more fulfilling life through exposure therapy. I will use imaginal or en vivo exposure techniques, depending on the individual's current needs. I like to create a hierarchy of exposures with the client to achieve success.
