Welcome! My name is Diana and I am an Ohio State University graduate with a Master's Degree in Social Work. I am licensed in Ohio (LISW-S) and Florida (LCSW). My clinical background began in healthcare, where I provided social services, care coordination, and case management to patients experiencing acute and chronic medical illness. I am committed to building a trusting relationship through listening, honesty, and empathy. I look forward to working with you and taking the first steps to feeling better.
In our initial session, my focus is to create an open space where you feel safe and heard. I encourage you to share your story at your own pace. From there, we will work together to identify any barriers and develop treatment goals.
I believe that meeting each person where they are currently at is vital to building a solid therapeutic relationship. I show up with patience, acceptance, and a positive energy that helps create a calming space to encourage healing, resilience, and growth.
I am best positioned to serve individuals , family members, and caregivers experiencing the impact of acute or chronic medical illness. I specialize in health anxiety, depression, disability, loss, and grief. If you would like someone outside of your situation to listen, support, and guide you towards a clearer path forward, I would welcome an opportunity to work with you.

Person-centered (Rogerian)
Person-centered therapy, also called client-centered therapy, allows space to share your story and process emotions. This approach focuses on the client's perspectives, allowing room for self-discovery and decision making.
Strength-Based
Your own strengths can be identified and used to problem solve and find solutions to challenging circumstances. A strengths based approach empowers clients to recognize and utilize their own inner resources to set manageable steps to overcome life's obstacles.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
This collaborative approach is centered in the present and aimed on finding resolutions. We will work together to recognize examples of your resilience. From there, we can establish what changes need to be made and when goals can be achieved.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In order for meaningful change to occur, we need to consider how our thoughts and feelings affect actions and behaviors. CBT allows us to explore any negative patterns, reframe thinking, and create healthier coping skills to better manage life events.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
Incorporating mindfulness and practicing acceptance can help us develop a deeper connection to ourselves, work through difficult situations, and manage feelings of stress and anxiety. ACT encourages emotional flexibility and personal growth.
