Hi, I’m a licensed social worker who specializes in supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families through life’s challenges. I believe in building a therapeutic relationship rooted in trust, collaboration, and empowerment.

What makes my approach unique is the way I integrate a range of therapeutic techniques while tailoring everything to your individual needs.

Whether you’re navigating a specific concern or going through a major life transition, I’m here to help you build on your strengths and work toward meaningful, lasting change. I provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore difficult emotions, identify patterns, and develop practical tools for growth. My goal is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you as you gain clarity, confidence, and resilience in moving forward.

First session

Your first session with me is all about getting to know you—your story, your goals, and what’s brought you to therapy. We’ll explore what’s working in your life, what feels challenging, and begin identifying what you hope to change. I’ll also answer any questions you have about the process and work collaboratively with you to set the direction for our work together. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and not judged—so you can speak freely and begin to build trust from day one.

Strengths

What makes my approach unique is the way I integrate a range of therapeutic techniques while tailoring everything to your individual needs. I combine evidence-based practices like CBT, DBT, and solution-focused therapy with a trauma-informed, strength-based lens. This means we won’t just focus on what’s going wrong—we’ll also uncover and build upon what’s already strong within you. I emphasize empowerment, resilience, and skill-building so you can feel more in control of your emotions, relationships, and life decisions. My clients often share that they feel truly seen and supported in our work together, and that therapy becomes a space where real, meaningful growth happens.

Ideal clients

I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families ages 12 to 65 who are seeking support with emotional, behavioral, relational, and family-related concerns. I am best positioned to help clients struggling with anxiety, depression, conflict in relationships, communication issues, family stress, boundary-setting, self-esteem concerns, emotional regulation, and difficult life transitions. I also work well with clients who want to improve insight, strengthen coping skills, build healthier relationships, and create meaningful change in their lives. My goal is to help clients feel supported while also empowering them to better manage challenges, increase self-awareness, and move toward healthier patterns of functioning.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to distress. Together, we work to develop healthier thinking and behavior patterns that support their goals. I’ve used CBT effectively with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma responses, and life transitions. Sessions are structured, collaborative, and focused on practical tools clients can apply outside of therapy

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I utilize Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients develop practical skills for managing intense emotions, improving interpersonal relationships, increasing distress tolerance, and practicing mindfulness. In my practice, I integrate DBT techniques with other evidence-based approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to assist clients in identifying unhealthy thought patterns and replacing them with healthier coping strategies. I frequently teach emotion regulation skills, grounding techniques, distress tolerance strategies, and effective communication skills to help clients navigate crises, reduce impulsive behaviors, and improve daily functioning. My approach emphasizes validation while also encouraging meaningful behavioral change, allowing clients to build resilience and achieve their treatment goals.

Trauma Informed Care

I incorporate trauma-informed care by creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel empowered and respected. I recognize the widespread impact of trauma and tailor treatment to avoid re-traumatization, honor clients’ strengths, and promote healing at their own pace. My approach emphasizes collaboration, choice, and trust, whether I’m working with individuals, couples, or families impacted by trauma
