Teddy Lapommeray
I am a person who has dealt with many hardships which has made me what I want others to be, not just a surviver but a person who fights to thrive.
What has led me to social work has been experiencing tough times and recognizing that I could be some of the change and support I felt I needed during the times I felt I had no one.

First session
An easy going conversation about what led client to therapy and what they expect out of our time together. I try to use our first session for us to get to know each other and work together to see what outcomes are they expectations moving forward.
Strengths
I love using realism and humor to ease into difficult conversations but also to show that most conversations can be had if the approach is correct.
Ideal clients
I'm best suited to help clients who struggle with life altering circumstances. I typically work with those who feel that there is no other way to manage their lives other than speaking with someone who can support them and give different perspectives on how change looks for them. Addiction and health issues are two areas where I tend to find myself helping people with the most.
Treatment methods
Motivational Interviewing
Motivational Interviewing allows me to support clients trying to make change in their lives while doing something that is natural to me which is motivating people.
