Reaching out for support takes courage, and I’m glad you’re here. As a Licensed Independent Social Worker with a Supervision designation (LISW-S), I specialize in evidence-based treatment for anxiety, depression, and stress management. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed by chronic worry, carrying a heaviness you can’t quite shake, or struggling with burnout, you don’t have to figure it out alone. In addition to my clinical work, I mentor and supervise other clinicians, which keeps me at the forefront of the most effective therapeutic tools and mental health practices. My approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe you are the expert on your own life; my job is to offer clinical perspective and practical strategies that work in the real world. I focus on creating a comfortable, safe space where we can work together from the very first session to turn 'feeling stuck' into a clear path forward.
First sessions can feel a little nerve-wracking—and that’s completely okay. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out or to share more than you’re ready to. During our initial intake, we’ll focus on getting to know each other. I’ll guide our conversation to understand the symptoms or stressors bringing you to therapy and what your specific mental health goals are. My approach is collaborative; think of this less as an interview and more as an open conversation to ensure we are the right therapeutic match. By the end of our first session, we’ll have the beginnings of a personalized treatment plan. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard—not overwhelmed—and with a sense that this is a safe, supportive space where you can finally breathe a little easier
What I hear most from clients is simple: “I finally feel heard.” That means everything to me — because feeling truly heard is often the first step toward feeling better. Here’s what I believe sets our work together apart: • Clients leave feeling less alone. That might sound small, but it’s profound. Anxiety and depression can be incredibly isolating. One of the most powerful things therapy can do is remind you that you are not broken, and you are not in this by yourself. • I draw from approaches that are proven to work. I use a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, strengths-based therapy, and motivational interviewing — tailoring the right tools to fit you, not the other way around. There’s no one-size-fits-all in my practice.
I work with individual teenagers, adults, including older adults, who are ready to explore what’s been getting in the way of feeling like themselves again. You might be a great fit if you: • Look fine on the outside, but feel overwhelmed on the inside. You’re holding it together at work, at school, at home, in life — but internally, the anxiety or sadness is constant. You’re tired of carrying it quietly. • Are going through a major life transition. A new chapter, a loss, a relationship change, a career shift — sometimes life moves faster than we can process it, and that’s exactly what therapy is for. • Are considering therapy for the very first time. Maybe you’ve never done this before and aren’t sure what to expect. That’s okay. We’ll figure it out together, at your pace. • Are in a later chapter of life and navigating what that brings. Older adults carry a lifetime of experiences, and sometimes that comes with its own grief, loneliness, or anxiety that deserves real attention — not to be brushed aside.

Person-centered (Rogerian)
I do not believe in a cookie cutter approach that will work for everyone. Rather I have utilized a person-centered approach working in mental health field for over 20 years. I have found tailoring services to the person provides a sense of empowerment providing a safe environment to facilitate self-discovery and positive change focused on what works best for the individual.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I've been utilizing CBT in my practice for the past 13 years. It has helped many clients living with challenging recurring thoughts and managing anxiety, stress, and/or depression. We will use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors interact with one another. We will then use this information to change your thinking patterns or change your behavior to reduce anxiety, depression, and/or stress in life.
Motivational Interviewing
I have been using motivational interviewing for the past 16 years to work collaboratively with my clients in identifying desired changes in their life, building self-confidence, and ability to successful change behaviors.
Strength-Based
I have been using strength-based approach for the past 21 years. It has proven helpful in reducing anxiety and depression through fostering use of strengths and focusing on positive changes in one's life. This will enhance one's self esteem, confidence, and improved coping.
