I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in New Jersey, working with both children and adults navigating ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, generalized anxiety, depression, and OCD.

I’m highly engaged in sessions and focused on helping clients make real, measurable progress; not just insight.

Whether you're struggling with emotional regulation, racing thoughts, burnout, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, we will work together to better understand what’s going on and develop practical tools to help you move forward. My approach is active, direct, and solution-focused. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model; therapy with me is collaborative and tailored to your specific needs and goals. I integrate evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and supportive therapy to help you build skills, increase insight, and create lasting change. I also recognize that starting therapy (or starting over) can be a big step. I aim to meet you where you are, while gently challenging you toward growth in a way that feels manageable and realistic. If you're looking for a therapist who is engaged, practical, and focused on helping you see progress, I’d be happy to connect

First session

In our first session, the focus is on getting to know each other and building a strong, comfortable foundation. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, your experiences, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. I’ll guide the conversation, but there’s no pressure to share everything at once; this is about creating a space where you feel understood, supported, and able to move forward at your own pace.

Strengths

My greatest strengths are my ability to be both direct and supportive, creating a space where clients feel understood while also being challenged to grow. I’m highly engaged in sessions and focused on helping clients make real, measurable progress; not just insight. I’m skilled at breaking down complex patterns into practical, manageable steps and tailoring evidence-based approaches to fit each person’s needs. My trauma-informed perspective allows me to recognize how past experiences impact the present, and I bring a strong sense of empathy, structure, and accountability to the work. I also value collaboration, meeting clients where they are while helping them move forward with clarity and confidence.

Ideal clients

My ideal clients tend to feel overwhelmed, stuck, or frustrated by patterns they can’t seem to break; whether that’s anxiety, OCD, ADHD, mood swings, or the impact of past trauma. Many come in feeling like they’re trying hard but not getting the results they want. In our work together, I take a direct, supportive approach and work alongside you to better understand what’s going on and build practical tools that actually fit your life. My team helps handle the logistics—like scheduling and insurance—so you can stay focused on yourself and the progress you’re making.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help you understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful patterns and work to challenge and reframe them while building practical skills you can use in your daily life to improve mood, reduce anxiety, and create lasting change.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use DBT to help you build skills in managing intense emotions, improving relationships, and tolerating distress. We focus on practical tools like mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness to help you feel more in control and respond more effectively in everyday situations.

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)

I use ERP to help you face fears and reduce anxiety by gradually exposing you to triggering situations while resisting compulsions. Over time, this helps break the cycle of OCD, build tolerance to discomfort, and allow anxiety to decrease naturally so you can regain control.

I felt heard and understood right off the bat, which for someone who has felt very alone carrying a lot of difficult situations and emotions, was very healing and powerful!
