Bradley Justice
I'm Brad Justice, an independently licensed therapist with over a decade of experience working with adults. My style is direct and practical. I won't just nod and reflect your words back at you. We'll dig into what's actually driving the patterns, figure out what needs to change, and build real tools you can use outside of our sessions. I specialize in relationship patterns/communication, anxiety and burnout. I also work with grief, caregiver fatigue, and life transitions. I'm an affirming provider for LGBTQIA+ clients and bring both clinical training and genuine investment to that work.
First session
Our first session is a conversation, not an interrogation. I want you to feel comfortable, and while we're talking I'm already listening for patterns, context, and what's really underneath what brought you here. You'll leave with a clearer sense of what we're working with and where we can go together. Depending on what comes up, I may give you something small to try before our next session so we can start figuring out what actually works for you.
Strengths
Therapy with me isn't about venting indefinitely. It's about understanding yourself clearly enough to move differently. If you're ready for honest, focused work and done with just managing rather than actually living, let's talk.
Ideal clients
I connect with adults who spend a lot of time trying to keep it all together: managing responsibilities and navigating relationships, even when things feel impossible. My ideal clients are curious about themselves, open to looking at patterns, and ready to make meaningful changes. They may feel stuck in familiar cycles, struggle to prioritize themselves, or want to feel more connected and confident in their relationships and everyday lives.
Treatment methods
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I have experience in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, which focuses on building practical skills to manage intense emotions, tolerate stress, and communicate more effectively in relationships. This approach balances acceptance with change, helping you validate your experience while shifting patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
My background includes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, an approach that helps you relate differently to difficult thoughts and feelings while focusing on what truly matters to you. The work centers on building flexibility and taking meaningful steps toward the life you want.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I am well versed in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which explores how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns and develop more balanced responses to improve mood and daily functioning.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
I draw from Internal Family Systems, a model that helps you understand the different “parts” within you, such as the inner critic or anxious part. The goal is to approach these parts with curiosity and compassion, creating greater internal balance and clarity.
