(he/him)
I decided to become a therapist after years of working in jobs I found unfulfilling and uninspiring. I have spent time in retail, marketing, carpentry, office administration, and non-profit work. I have been practicing for nearly ten years. I have worked with a variety of populations, such as adults with persistent and severe mental illness, teenagers, college students at a university, LGBTQIA+, and seniors. I now primarily work with young professionals, creatives, entrepreneurs, and those who have “strayed” away from a traditional life.
You can expect warmth, curiosity, interest, and a genuine interest in your life and current situation.
I pride myself on being a relatable therapist as I myself cannot relate to many therapists I've met. I hope you do not have that same experience.
My practice primarily focuses on individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, ssri/benzo withdrawal, life transitions, lack of fulfillment, and those seeking personal growth. I have a lot of life experiences, education, and previous careers to pull from. Let's try to make sense of what's happening in your life.
