First session
In our first session, I will explain confidentiality and informed consent. I will ask about what prompted reaching out and discuss therapeutic goals. I will ask about the history of the struggle, and above all listen empathetically and without judgement.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have used CBT for years in identifying cognitive distortions, reframing negative and anxious thoughts to promote new thought and behavior patterns.
EMDR
I use EMDR to treat trauma and to help bridge the gap between logical beliefs and feelings.
Psychoeducation
I use psychoeducation to give clients tools and understanding of theories as well as homework to look over.
Compassion Focused
I believe that compassion is the prerequisite for a therapeutic relationship and change to occur.
