Are you ready to lay down some of your load? Come to a comfortable, safe space to unpack whatever you've been carrying. I utilize a strengths-based approach in talk therapy with an emphasis on instilling hope.
I utilize a strengths-based approach in talk therapy with an emphasis on instilling hope.
Together we will celebrate the victories, find a way through the barriers, and walk a path of recovery in whatever part of the journey you are on.
First session
During the first session, I will get an inventory of who you are. I will listen to what you want to get out of our counseling sessions and build a treatment plan to help you reach your goals.
Strengths
I will help you navigate life transitions- both the expected and unexpected. We'll identify and utilize the strengths and resources you already have and build skills you need to heal, cope with challenges, and move forward.
Ideal clients
I have extensive experience working with diverse ages, cultures, faiths, occupations, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Treatment methods
Eclectic
I am a strengths-based, trauma-informed clinician and primarily use elements of Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing as therapeutic approaches. I have training in Relapse Prevention Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Multidimensional Family Therapy.
