Hi, I am a Licensed Clinical social worker and I have been in practice five years. I specialize in CBT, Mindfulness, EMDR, person centered, psychodynamic therapy, and couples counseling. I believe in meeting each individual where they are, and designing a treatment plan based on the specific needs of each patient.

First session
In the first session, a client should expect to be met with a safe and comfortable space to discuss treatment options for their specific mental health needs.
Strengths
I am naturally empathetic and compassionate, and these are two traits that have allowed me to help many individuals. I believe in practicing active listening and mindfulness in order to understand a patient’s needs and goals. It is my mission to ensure that my patients are treated with respect, dignity, and non-judgment. I provide my patients with an stress-free, relaxing atmosphere to allow them to feel free and open to be transparent with their treatment needs and goals.

I am comfortable serving adults age 18+. I provide care to individuals and couples, and enjoy working with a diverse range of people. I believe in meeting clients where they are in life as well as on their healing journey. My focus is to help guide clients through challenging times in their lives and to assist them with identifying their strengths to help achieve their treatment goals.
Treatment methods
Person-centered (Rogerian)
Person-centered therapy is a humanistic approach that focuses on providing a patient with a safe and supportive environment to process and explore their thoughts, feelings, and life experiences. With support and guidance from a therapists, a patient will become empowered to make positive changes to enrich their quality of life. The therapist will example key principles to provide empathy, unconditional positive regard, listen actively, and provide client-centered care that is individualized to meet the specific needs of each patient.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a structured form of talk therapy that focuses on the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. The goal isn't to force "positive thinking," but to identify unhelpful thinking patterns, evaluate whether they're accurate, and practice more balanced ways of responding.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
ACT helps individuals accept difficult thoughts rather than avoid them. A main focus of this treatment model living in line with personal core values. ACT is especially helpful to those who experience chronic stress and emotional pain.
EMDR
Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy, commonly known as EMDR, is a mental health therapy method. EMDR treats mental health conditions that occur because of memories from traumatic events in your past. It’s best known for its role in treating post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), but its use is expanding to include treatment of many other conditions, such as anxiety, depression, and Obsessive compulsive disorder.
