I have a master's and a doctorate in Forensic Psychology with a particular interest in trauma-related disorders. I have been in the field of mental health since 2016 and became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2024. I have an eclectic approach to care, integrating CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care, and I have been trained in EMDR and the Flash Technique. I have a unique combined lived history that gives me a real-world understanding of trauma-induced psychiatric conditions.

First session

Our first session will be what you want it to be, whether you are ready to jump right in or need the comfort of building a working relationship before entrusting me with your deepest and most sensitive matters. I am flexible and agile when it comes to meeting my clients where they are, every session.

Strengths

My first role in mental health care was that of a peer, working in the Jail Diversion program. This gave me a solid foundation of person-centered care and approach to individuals from a broad range of backgrounds. My personal trauma history is vast, and has prepared me to be right where I need to be most, alongside my clients on their own recovery journey.

Ideal clients

My ideal client is willing to accept that I am human too and willing to work together to improve their quality of life. Whether you are just starting in life or working to build a new life, bring me your challenges, and we will see them through. I am open to discussing anything you bring to the table, whether it's matters of the heart, challenges at work, or a troubled mind.
