Hello! I pursued a career in social work 30 years ago to help others problem solve through difficulties and challenges. I will help you bring into focus the importance of understanding loss and the effects that unresolved grief can have on daily living related to your physical, mental, and spiritual health. Whether you prefer to jump or journey through life, allow me to be a Life Support for your emotional, psychological, and spiritual well-being.
During the first session expect to be yourself and talk about your concerns and issues. It's okay to jump right in!
One of my strengths is I have suffered losses and had to work through the process of grief. My years of experience working with individuals, families, and groups within hospitals, churches, hospice agencies, home health, and long-term care facilities who have suffered a loss and need grief support allows me to empathize with their situation.
My work is primarily focused on middle aged and older clients who are grieving a loss and to help them understand and move through the stages of loss & grief.

I choose Denise over all the other counselors because she had a good background that seemed like might fit my needs, and looked caring. Denise was very kind and caring during my appointment and I really liked her. She gave me good Davy and made me feel comfortable talking.
