First session
Our initial session is a biopsychosocial assessment where we gather information about the present concerns, history of concerns as well as general history and pinpoint treatment goals.
Strengths
I feel my greatest strengths as a therapist are openness to others and their experiences, as well as my direct, strategy based approach. I am actively involved in offering techniques, assisting with solutions and encouraging homework in between sessions to achieve goals.
Ideal clients
I see individuals, couples and families ages 18 and over. I work well with motivated clients who are not afraid to actively address their concerns outside of therapy as well.

I utilize CBT in session to assist with concerns like anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma triggers and responses, negative perceptions, etc.

SFT is utilized to assist clients clearly define their individual goals and steps to achieve the goals.

IMAGO communication strategies are utilized to teach effective communication within sessions.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness, guided imagery and visualization techniques are utilized to assist with coping, anxiety, stress reduction, anger management, and trauma responses.
Structural Family Therapy
Concepts utilized to assist with conceptualization, setting boundaries, challenging unhealthy roles and negative perceptions, etc.
