First session

In the first session, be prepared to be the expert. We will develop a rapport and determine what challenges you would like to address as well as identifying strengths that will help foster your success. We will also develop goals to work towards.

Strengths

My strengths include my ability to speak transparently and honestly while expressing respect for others' individuality, serve as an avid learner and work collaboratively to help my clients reach the success they seek.

Ideal clients

My experiences have afforded me a holistic understanding of the challenges that clients and their families encounter. This comprehensive insight has propelled me to develop and implement effective intervention strategies tailored to meet the individual needs of my clients and their families. My journey into social work was fueled by my commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others. I believe that everyone deserves a safe and nurturing environment to thrive, and I strive to empower you to overcome obstacles through evidence-based practices and compassionate care by drawing on your strengths and helping you foster resilience and emotional well-being.

Treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I believe everyone has the innate ability to be successful and overcome challenges. Maintaining a person-centered approach allows the client's strengths to enhance areas in need of address and help validate that which they already know.

Faith based therapy

Spirituality and Faith go beyond religion to encompass that which one believes in, that divinity help with balance and support. Integrating this modality allows clients to draw upon one of the foundational dimensions of wellness to address complications.

I had a great 1st session with her. She was warm, engaging, and authentic, and she made me feel very comfortable. I was worried it would take me a while to open up, but she made it so easy. I am looking forward to working with her in the future.
