Hello, I'm Erin. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Doctoral Candidate in Counselor Education and Supervision. I believe every person has inherent worth and deserves to be seen as more than a diagnosis or the most difficult chapter of their life. My approach to counseling is holistic, trauma-informed, and wellness-focused. Together, we'll explore not only the challenges that brought you to therapy, but also your strengths, relationships, values, and goals so you can build a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, substance use and recovery, and problematic sexual behaviors. I also enjoy supporting counselors, graduate counseling students, and other helping professionals who spend their lives caring for others and need a space where they can simply be cared for themselves.
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to have everything figured out before you begin. During our first session, we'll review informed consent, discuss confidentiality, and answer any questions you have about the counseling process. From there, I'll spend time getting to know you—what brings you to therapy, what has shaped your experiences, what strengths you already possess, and what you hope will be different in your life. My goal isn't to rush into fixing problems. It's to understand your story, build a trusting relationship, and begin developing goals that reflect what matters most to you. By the end of our first session, you'll have a better understanding of how we can work together and what the next steps will look like.
I believe the counseling relationship is one of the most powerful tools for healing. Clients often describe me as warm, genuine, and easy to talk to while also appreciating that I can challenge them with compassion when they're ready for growth. My work is grounded in evidence-based practices while remaining flexible enough to meet each person's unique needs. Rather than focusing only on symptom reduction, I help clients strengthen resilience, improve relationships, reconnect with their values, and cultivate overall wellness. My experience in crisis services, trauma, substance use, and problematic sexual behaviors allows me to work with people facing complex and often deeply personal concerns without judgment. Whether you're navigating a difficult season of life or seeking lasting personal growth, my goal is to provide a safe, collaborative space where you feel understood, respected, and empowered.
My ideal client is someone who is ready to better understand themselves and create meaningful, lasting change. They may be navigating trauma, anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, recovery, or the effects of chronic stress and are looking for a compassionate, collaborative space to heal and grow. I especially enjoy working with helping professionals, individuals facing complex or stigmatized concerns, and those who value a holistic approach that focuses on the whole person rather than a diagnosis.

CBT helps us understand how our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another. Together, we'll identify patterns that may no longer be serving you, challenge unhelpful thinking, and develop practical skills that support healthier coping, greater resilience, and lasting change.
I believe every person has a unique story, and many life experiences can shape how we view ourselves, others, and the world. My trauma-informed approach emphasizes safety, trust, collaboration, and respect while recognizing that healing happens at your pace in an environment free of judgment.
I believe people are more than a diagnosis or the challenges they face. My humanistic approach focuses on understanding you as a whole person—your strengths, values, relationships, and goals. Therapy is a collaborative process where you are seen, heard, and supported as you grow.
I strive to provide an inclusive, respectful, and affirming environment where clients of all gender identities and expressions feel safe, valued, and understood. My goal is to support you in exploring your experiences authentically while honoring your identity and lived experience.
Every person brings strengths into therapy, even during life's most difficult seasons. Rather than focusing only on problems, we'll identify the qualities, skills, and resources you already possess and use them as a foundation for healing, confidence, and meaningful change.
