First session

My goal is to help my clients feel that they are in a safe place to discuss whatever it is they are struggling with and to work as partners in identifying the appropriate coping strategies, interventions and solutions they problems they are facing.

Strengths

My greatest strengths are to listen to my clients, help them to take ownership of their behavior and to empower them to communicate their needs or implement strategies to manage their problems.

Ideal clients

My approach is collaborative. I work alongside you to identify and address the underlying issues causing stress, anger, depression, or any other challenges. Together, we’ll set goals to move you away from pain and toward a life that feels supported and within your control. Growing up today is challenging not only for teenagers but also for their families.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

How we perceive a problem is crucial in how we address it. I have used this method with clients of all ages to help them identify the root of their problems and to help them manage those problems. Primarily used to address Anxiety and Depression.

Family Therapy

Over the years in working with families my focus has been to help each family member learn how to communicate their feelings to each other and to be heard and understood.
