I have experience working with adults who are struggling with navigating life transitions or have other personal challenges related to anxiety, depression, feeling overwhelmed, adjustment issues, parenting concerns, and difficulties in relationships. I believe therapy can assist you with gaining a better understanding of your own thoughts, feelings, and behavior patterns to help you enhance your relationships with others and develop a skill set to assist in creating a positive change that aligns with your beliefs and values.
My goal for the first session is a create warm, welcoming, and supportive environment where you will feel safe and comfortable being yourself. As I feel therapy is a collaborative approach, we will work together towards developing a therapeutic relationship that supports your own personal growth and healing.
I believe therapy sessions should reflect a safe, nonjudgemental, collaborative approach to assist you in exploring your thoughts, emotions, challenges, and triumphs to develop a deeper understanding of yourself and create the change you want to accomplish in your life. I believe healing begins and true change is made when we feel accepted and empowered to be who we are.
