Hi, I’m Lauren. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, struggling in your relationships, or carrying the emotional weight of infertility, pregnancy loss, birth trauma, or other reproductive experiences, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to navigate it by yourself. I specialize in helping adults who feel stuck, emotionally overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves. Whether you’re experiencing constant worry, difficulty regulating emotions, relationship challenges, or grief related to reproductive trauma, we’ll work together to understand what’s keeping you stuck and develop practical tools to help you feel more grounded, confident, and connected. My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely heard without judgment while also leaving each session with greater insight and strategies you can use in everyday life. You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy.

First session

Our first session is all about getting to know you and understanding what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what’s been weighing on you, explore any relevant background, and discuss what you’d like to get out of therapy. You don’t need to have everything figured out before we meet.

Strengths

My approach is shaped by both professional training and compassion. Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a sexual assault advocate, supporting women through crisis with empathy, steadiness, and respect for their unique healing process. I provide a warm, supportive space while also gently encouraging growth. My goal is to help you feel understood, challenged in meaningful ways, and empowered to create lasting change.

Ideal clients

I take a collaborative, goal-oriented approach to therapy, integrating Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients build practical coping skills and emotional balance, along with Narrative Therapy to explore how their experiences have shaped their identity—and how they can begin to rewrite the story. I’m especially energized by working with people who are open to reflection, willing to challenge themselves, and committed to making meaningful, lasting change with support.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have practiced CBT throughout my entire career with therapy. I use this method to help clients gain insight into how thoughts and feelings relate to behaviors.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I am certified in DBT and use this treatment modality to address emotional regulation, mindfulness, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Narrative

I use narrative therapy to help clients rewrite their own life story and more positive and empowering perspectives.

Strength-Based

I use strength based perspective to encourage clients to recognize their own personal strengths and build resilience to overcome challenges.
