First session

In our first session together, we'll begin with a short introduction before exploring the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me to create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. During the session I utilize secure, privacy-compliant AI-assisted dictation technology to support the completion of clinical documentation. This allows me to remain fully present and attentive during sessions while maintaining accurate and timely records. If you are not comfortable with this, you may choose to seek services with a provider whose practices better align with your preferences.

Having worked with individuals, couples and families for the past 30+ years, my greatest strength is having navigated my own challenges, I bring a deeper sense of empathy to my work, along with effective, real-world strategies that have been proven successful.

I have extensive experience using CBT to help clients manage challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and stress. Together, we will explore the thoughts and beliefs that influence your emotions and behaviors. We will identify unhelpful thoughts and explore alternative, more balanced perspectives. This helps to reduce emotional distress and encourages more effective decision-making. My goal is always to help clients in developing lasting skills that empower them to navigate life's challenges with confidence.

My fiancé and I discovered her and we booked our first session. We were really happy with it and felt like she is the therapist for us. She listens and also gives us feedback. She challenges us to do the work and she is very direct, intelligent and authentic. She does not sugar coat and that is what we need from a therapist in order for us to get the help we truly need.
