As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I enjoy working with adults navigating grief, life transitions, aging, and caregiver stress. I understand that seeking support can feel like a big step, and I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. My background in medical social work has given me the opportunity to work with people from diverse backgrounds facing a wide range of life experiences. Over the years, I've learned the value of meeting people where they are, listening deeply to their stories, and recognizing the strengths they already possess. I believe every person's journey is unique, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they navigate life's challenges. My approach to therapy is integrative, meaning I tailor each session to your individual needs, goals, and experiences while drawing from evidence-based practices. Together, we'll build on your strengths, explore new perspectives, and develop practical tools to help you move forward with greater resilience and confidence. Whether you're grieving the loss of a loved one, adjusting to the changes that come with aging, caring for someone else, or facing another major life transition, my goal is to help you feel supported, empowered, and better equipped to navigate whatever comes next.

First session

During our first session, we'll begin by reviewing my disclosure statement and discussing any questions you may have about the therapy process. From there, I'll invite you to share what brought you to therapy and what you're hoping to gain from our work together. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and never rushed as we begin getting to know one another.

Strengths

Over the years, both my work and my own life experiences have shaped the therapist I am today. Having supported others through grief and life transitions while navigating my own experiences of loss and change, I understand how important it is to have someone who will simply be present, listen without judgment, and walk alongside you. I hope to provide a space where you feel safe, supported, and able to find peace and healing at your own pace.

Ideal clients

My ideal client is an adult navigating grief, caregiving responsibilities, aging, or another significant life transition. They may be feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or simply looking for support as they adjust to life's changes. They are open to exploring their experiences with honesty and curiosity and are willing to engage in the therapeutic process by trying different approaches to discover what works best for them. Together, we'll create a safe, collaborative space where healing and personal growth can unfold at a pace that feels right.

Treatment methods

Eclectic

My approach to therapy is eclectic, meaning I draw from a variety of therapeutic techniques and tailor our work to your individual needs, experiences, and goals. I believe healing involves supporting the whole person—mind, body, and emotions—while honoring each person's unique story and lived experiences. My work is grounded in trauma-informed care, which means I prioritize creating a safe, compassionate, and empowering environment where you feel respected, heard, and supported. I recognize that past experiences can shape how we navigate the world, relationships, and life transitions, and I approach therapy with curiosity, sensitivity, and without judgment. In our work together, I may incorporate psychoeducation around somatic awareness, helping you recognize the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and physical experiences. I also utilize mindfulness practices, breathwork, and guided imagery to support relaxation, self-awareness, emotional regulation, and a greater sense of calm. My goal is to provide you with tools that feel meaningful and practical while creating a collaborative space where you can gain insight, build resilience, and move toward greater healing and well-being.
