It is my belief that every human being has dignity and worth no matter what you have gone through or experienced. I aim to provide a warm, safe, and accepting environment that is non-judgmental by which you can process and work through issues that are problematic.

I have experience treating anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, grief and loss, anger management, and ADHD.

I work to form a therapeutic relationship with clients that is collaborative, promotes insight, and helps to foster change and wellness. I have experience treating anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, grief and loss, anger management, and ADHD. My clinical approach is integrative, drawing from both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). However, I will implement other approaches according to the needs of my clients. My passion is to help each individual achieve their desired goals and reach their full potential. With support, encouragement, and unconditional acceptance, change is possible and life can become better. The journey towards change begins with the first step.

First session

In the first session you will be able to share your story and talk about the reasons you are seeking therapy. You will receive acceptance, compassion, and positive feedback. We will collaborate to develop treatment goals that will guide the forthcoming sessions.

Strengths

My 8 years of experience has developed in me the ability to create a safe space and place for clients to express their thoughts and feelings freely.

Ideal clients

I enjoy working with clients who are willing to learn, practice, and apply the techniques and skills that are discussed and explored during our sessions. My passion is to help each individual achieve their desired goals and reach their full potential.

Treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I utilized this approach to help clients accept that they are having thoughts and feelings versus suppressing or avoiding them. Through acceptance they are able to move forward towards behaviors and goals that align with their values.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Through this approach I help clients identify thoughts that may be distorted and not actually true. I assist clients with examining and challenging those negative thoughts and beliefs.

Great listener. A breath of fresh air for therapy. He focuses on what it is you're saying, and waits until finished to give feedback or pose questions. Solid advice, and good points. Awesome experience.
