With more than two decades of experience, I've been privileged to work in a variety of settings including psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment centers, domestic violence shelters, juvenile justice, forensic facilities & child advocacy centers. I am currently licensed in AK, DE, FL, GA, ID, NH, SC, UT and VT. I hold a M.Ed and an Ed.S in counseling and I am also a a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS). One of the most rewarding aspects of my work was partnering with local law enforcement & district attorneys as an expert witness in trauma & abuse cases, conducting 300+ forensic interviews across metro Atlanta. I served as an Executive Board Member on the State of GA Sexual Offender Registration Review Board for 10+ years & conducted workshops on a range of topics, including relationships, parenting, stress management & child abuse.

Whether you're untangling something painful, navigating a big transition, or just trying to make sense of where you are, I want you to feel grounded, heard, and genuinely understood.

I help countless people "figure it out". Whether you're battling anxiety, depression, self-esteem, or struggling with relationships, I believe you are the expert of your life. Together we'll work towards finding solutions to the problems that are holding you back, so you can focus on living your best life.

First session

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation for our work together. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, explore relevant parts of your background, and start identifying your goals. It’s completely natural to feel a bit uncertain at the beginning, but we’ll move at your pace. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I’m here to guide and support you every step of the way.

Strengths

I believe you are the ultimate authority on your own life. Together, we’ll take a step-by-step approach to work through what's holding you back, finding practical solutions that make sense for you. My goal is to make sure you feel heard, supported, and empowered to live your best life. Life can be complicated—therapy doesn’t have to be, and I’ll be with you every step of the way.

Ideal clients

Does life feel like a constant uphill climb? Maybe you're trying to keep up with your partner, kids, or work, and feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or just stuck. You might be caught in a cycle of self-doubt or racing thoughts that won’t let up. If any of this sounds familiar, you’re not alone. Whatever you're going through, we’ll face it together. My goal is to support you in finding more balance, confidence, and a path forward that feels right for you. Whether you’re navigating a life transition, dealing with anxiety or depression, or healing from trauma, you don’t have to go through it alone. My job is to partner with you to help you create lasting, meaningful change. Using evidence-based approaches like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, we’ll work together to find what works, let go of what doesn't, and help you move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. By identifying unhelpful patterns and learning practical coping strategies, clients gain tools to manage challenges, reduce stress, and create lasting change.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients identify their strengths, clarify their goals, and create practical steps toward positive change. This approach focuses on what's working and builds on your existing resources, allowing you to make meaningful progress quickly and confidently.

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing to help clients explore their goals, overcome uncertainty, and make meaningful changes. This collaborative approach empowers you to discover your own motivation and take steps toward the life you want.

Natasha is very direct in her approach, she is great at just listening & then getting you to move into a solution. You feel heard by her & sometimes that’s all you need.

We only had one couples session with Natasha; nevertheless, I really appreciate Natasha's solution oriented and open-minded approach, she asked great, thought provoking questions and challenged us gently throughout our session.
