Hello, I'm Abdy! (Abdee) I am a Bilingual Latina therapist. Working with adults managing life transitions, relationship issues, improving self-esteem, anxiety, substance use, trauma, depression and working with those impacted by chronic medical issues and mental illness. First session

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then explore the specific challenges you're facing or the reason that brought you into therapy. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

EMDR

I am specialized in EMDR and trauma informed practice with my clients to address trauma, anxiety, depression, and other concerns. It’s helped dozens of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their personal hurdles and problems.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using CBT in my practice for the past five years. It’s helped dozens of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.

Hands down amazing. Abdy truly encapsulates what she wrote about herself in her bio. There’s no gimmicks, no judgements. She is very warm, open-minded, authentic, and solution oriented.
